Hi Hoops Family,

We are running a SILENT AUCTION for our friend's 2 1/2 yr old son who is unfortunately battling leukaemia.

Up for Auction is a GAME WORN Daniel Johnson signed (black out edition) jersey and basketball.

If you are interested please head on to facebook and go to the Team Jaiden Fundraiser page - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1705293616403852/
It is a closed group but my wife is the admin and will add you so you can inbox her your bids.

The bids are open now and the highest silent bid will win. You have until June 10th at 5pm to place your bid, if you have any issues finding the page you can email me directly - [email protected]

Big thank you to Daniel Carlin for arranging this for me and to Daniel Johnson and the 36ers boys for signing the items.

Below is a little run down on what our poor little mate is going through-:

Little Jaiden is almost 2 1/2 years old and whilst most toddlers are running around exploring the world,
Jaiden has been fighting some pretty tough health battles.
At 7 weeks old he was diagnosed with a rare lung condition called Congenital Lobar Emphysema (CLE) - in both lungs. As a result, at just 9 weeks old Jaiden underwent major surgery to remove part of one of his lungs that was compromising other organs.
Jaiden recovered well and the docs were happy with his recovery/progress over the months that followed.
Things were looking upward but then at the tender age of just 13 months Jaiden was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Jaiden went through months of intense chemo treatment and just after Xmas 2015, was finally able to go back to some normality - like going to a play cafe, playground and back to swimming lessons. He was due to be in complete remission (no more chemo) in about April 2017. Things were on track and again looking good.
And then, as if this wasn't enough for this precious little boy, Kristy and Rob were told the devastating news that Jaiden had relapsed and the cancer (leukaemia) was back. The plan now is even more intensive blocks of chemo over the next 2-3 months and providing this works he will travel interstate to have a stem cell (bone marrow) transplant. The next few weeks are crucial as Jaiden will not be able to have the transplant unless the chemo works. The risks are much higher this round, especially because of his young age, making things even harder.
Jaiden is one of the bravest, strongest and most amazing little boys out there who hasn't and isn't giving up without a fight! We are here to help Jaiden and his family through this in any way we can. So please send all your well wishes to Jaiden and his family and help us help them during this unimaginable and unfair time.
