Hay if anyone knows about NZ Ball, trying having a go at best NZ side 1990-2016. Pick a 12-man squad. And yes you can include Steve Adams in the side even if he hasn't played for Tall Blacks.

NZ beat Australia in the 80s. Some of those guys deserve a place, such as Stan and John Hill, Dutchie Rademakers - can't remember anyone else.

Mystro, no Vukona in a 12-man squad?! Sure you couldn't put Marks at centre instead of Pledger to fit him in? Or over Fotu?

Hoopie, that team went to the WCs and snuck past Malaysia by 2pts, and lost their other four by an average of 29pts.
The modern Tall Blacks are one of only four countries to make the knockout rounds of the past four WCs (along with the USA, Spain and Turkey), so I don't think there's really any comparison between the eras.
Stan Hill could be an honourable mention for mine, but the group from 2002 to now is on another level.
Some of these didn't, or haven't played for NZ but are kiwis.
