Are wildcats back to square one?

So apparently Martin is a chance to return, to join Cotton who was his replacement?

Cotton's 3pt% doesn't look that flash so now are we back to where we started when we first let go of Jaron?

No outside threat?

At least the last few weeks we begun to see Jaron become agressive, spread the floor and take some heat of Prather.

I don't understand why we let Jaron go if the reason was we needed a guard knowing that Martin is due back soon?

WTF is going on?

So it wasn't just his waistband that was high?

Maybe just maybe Cotton can be a combo guard?

Cotton is a guard.

He. An facilitate. Drive and dish and a create his own shot. And shoot the three ball.

Johnson did those things but he wasn't a pure guard.

He's here because of the sponsorship from Cotton On. Wildcats name will go and they'll be called the Cotton Runts.

Are they back to square one?
Are they now the team to beat?
Did any commentators count them out?

These are the Perth questions I come to the board hourly to find out.

The clash this week could determine who takes 4th spot as i think it will come down to these two teams.

So many questions that need answering. Wish somehow these cats threads which this site is riddled with could somehow not pop up on the general part of the site.

I don't get it either. Not to pile on to the creator of this thread because it seems to be a theme in general this season that any time someone has a thought about the Cats they feel the need to start a new thread about it, when there are already existing threads it would fit into just fine.
The effect that has is
1. too many unnecessary threads means that other threads get pushed off the bottom of the page prematurely
2. wildcats conversations happen in multiple places at once, often about the same thing.

Neither of those are good things.

Without getting into technical argument over terminology, we needed someone for the backcourt, a genuine guard who carry the ball, run a play if needed, penetrate and either score off his own dribble or dish. JJ wasn't great at those things.
Frankly JJ would be awesome as a SF with a good outside shot.

Cotton is "NBA Fringe" so he should be a very good player by NBL standards. We'll have to wait and see just how much he scores. He may not be the "perfect" fit when Damo is back, but he will be a better fit than JJ.
We also don't know 100% when Damo will play, and there is always the worry of further injury.
