Ice Cube launches 3 on 3 league
- Nine former NBA players already signed in Kenyon Martin, Chauncey Billups, Stephen Jackson, Jermaine O'Neal, Rashard Lewis, Jason Williams, Bonzi Wells, Mike Bibby and Allen Iverson has signed on as a player/coach.
- The Big3 league will have 8 teams with 5 players on each team, one head coach and one assistant coach. All coaches will be former NBA players.
- Season will start on the 24th June with 8 regular-season game nights each Saturday in arenas around the country, each date consisting of four games in the same venue on the same day.
- Playoffs scheduled for 19th & 26th August.
- First team to score 60 points will win the game with a win-by-four rule and a seven minute half-time taken when a team gets to 30 points.
- There will be four-pointers from three four-point circles beyond the three-point line, players can shoot for four points by touching any part of the circle.
