He just signed with Trotamundos in the Venezuelan LPB. Their season will finish around the end of May so that makes him available to return for a second stint in the NBL. That means he's postponing his retirement. I can hear the groans already :).

Still a good player, but is he super motivated to win these days or just going through the motions?
Interesting question, is it better to get experienced player but on downside of career, or motivated young guy that while maybe not as good can makeup with desire. Seems the problem that the young guys straight out of college are out if depth going straight into strong league like nbl, should clubs look at players from state leagues that have at least gotten their feet wet at least. Guys like Starling and Kirksey in recent years could probably be ideal as that third import.
