Junior Results

Why is it taking so long for certain venues results to be updated on fox sports?? Some venues going up straight others taking days. In other sports, clubs are fined if results are not in by certain times. Just seems lazy

The only state that updates there stats is qld (bqjbc, qnjbc)

think you will find things that influence -

Is the person at the door IT savvy enough to put them on line(they are the ones that download the results from the stadium).

Does the stadium use laptops or paper score sheets.

Is the stadium owned by the basketball association - i.e. front desk / office workers from a stadium that are not basketball employees just send results in via fax or courier not on line from stadium.

There was once a prigressive rollout plan for electronic scoring. It is used intermittently for school basketball, used for social and by now should have rolled out to district. It is easy to use and instant updates. There is either a technology or leadership issue. Disappointing to say the least. Even if scores are up, often team lists are not or they are incomplete and you can not follow any stats. Strange in this day and age of technology but this is an organisation who have leaky roofs and no aircon in anybof their own stadiums.

What ever the reason it ain't good enough! If staff aren't tech savvy enough how to do it online maybe they shouldn't be doing the job in first place??? 20 years ago when technology like this was not available, sporting results from local footy would be broadcasted on local radio station within an hour or 2 of all the a grade finished. Surely cannot be that hard in this day and age to get scores updated a lot quicker than 5 plus days, it's just embarrassing!!

YES! this drives me crazy. waiting to see if your team makes a final because the ladder isnt updated until 2 days before the game.

A laptop at each stadium funded by BSA where scoresheets are handed over at the end of each game, click a few boxes and send off to a central person to update.

how is it that BSA have these Laptops that they use for Mens and 23s which can automatically put the results online but they dont use it for juniors?
Why choose the slow and inefficient route??
