Mitch Creek in Summer League

Got some play time at last. Recorded only 1 steal in 14 minutes. Didn't score, no rebounds nor assist but at least no turnover either. Hope he does better next chance.

Did Sobey play?

I've given up trying to find rosters/stats on the NBA's website.

Australians combined for 26/5/10/1/1 in this game. We're taking over!

Creek played well though. Defended well and played a bit of a leader role. The stats were misleading.

He didn't look shellshocked TBH. Summer League ball is often every man for himself stat padding stuff. His only attempt may be a miss but it was a good strong PnR drive that drew 2 guys on him. Griffin tip slammed his miss so even if he can't score, he just need to be more aggressive for them to like what they see.

Yeah to my eye creeks defense was very good to the point he looked like the only guy at summer league who even considered playing defense. That might be a stretch but he was good. Who knows what teams think of that though.

Mitch is getting no burn in this last game in the Utah league.

I think he might have to accept that he is just there for the experience.

Hopefully this experience, if thats all that comes of this, will give him more confidence to go to that next level in the NBL.
