BSA District Results

Yet again no results posted for Friday District games. Thursday's were posted.
So what is the issue then ?
Will this be the norm ?
Should Adelaide Basketball Group start it’s own Facebook results page and get the ball rolling posting everything that should be posted and isn’t including new Fiba rulings referees are being educated on, local news across all divisions and so much more.

A revolution is required.

Come on people, you all know how long the carrier pigeons take to fly back to BSA. Give them a go.

For a number of years, 2014-2016 if I remember correctly, a number of stadiums, (Pasadena, Wayville, Hillcrest, Morphettvale) we putting scores up as the evening progressed.

Was a great initiative by BSA an utilized CSO staff during down periods between games when people entering stadiums was at a minimum.

That already overworked BSA staff now have to do MORE work rather than be more efficient is only a backwards step.

The last Stategic plan had electronic scoring scheduled and was rolled out to Social first, then school basketball which sometimes happened and sometimes they brought out paper scoring. The next phase was district which has never happened. Investing in electronic scoring is what is needed and was planned.. Just not implemented. Why is what I want to know.

They might just be making sure that the scores are correct - no questions regarding ineligible players etc. yes there are methods of doing this on the spot, but, obviously not currently a capability the stadiums have.
So there at least may be one positive coming from the unregistered player tragedy of last season. Hopefully we won't see that again!

BSA ran a rule change clinic clubs were informed because some coaches turned up. Many did not then blame their own club or BSA for not knowing there are rule changes being implemented.
