What has happened to Casey Prather? He has been awful for Melbourne.

The most awful stuff in tonights game is the commentary by Tommy Greer .. when will he stop being a full time promotor for Melbourne United .. and what a lot of rubbish he is saying ..hope fox does not give him a contract next season .

Why does vickerman take so long to get Moller on, his defence stopped cairns roll and 6 nil to cairns when he went back to bench.

It all comes down to what the referees bet on...

Thats all what it comes to down to.

Its quite easy.

Place a large bet on a team with a foreign bookmaker so it it much much harder to track and prove.

Then just penalise the daylights out of the opposition.

Then go and collect your cash.

No one will ever know.

Melbourne look like Sydney, very expensive and don't work hard enough.

Melbourne looked there best in there first season.

I suppose they had a lot of luck that season with the 3 ball.

When it dried up they had nothing.

Prather is overrated as anything

Would be interesting to hear Prather's honest thoughts on the differences between playing for Melb and Perth

Tokoto is so much better than Prather it's laughable to even compare them, Perth never let go anyone they want to keep. Vickerman just keeps going back to the starters, that's how Gaze coaches.

Didn't watch this one

Looks like Wesley carried thru his brilliant form from Monday

But otherwise a typical game from United- Goulding failing to fire, nothing from the bench.

Melbourne's locals have been atrocious. Wesley is the only one who can actually hold his head high and say he's having a decent season so far.

Tokoto was great last couple of games but season to date it's fairly even between him and Prather.

Bring back DD. Vickerman might be a good coach but clearly like DD can't get anything out of a supposedly talented side.

Fearne said some pretty good stuff in the press conference.

Podge, where you at? I like Fearney. I like him. He's great. He's improving. Happy to have him as my team's coach. Shut up tho, don't want to hear you rabbit on!

Does anyone have a link to Fearne's presser? I love hearing him talk.

Fearne has never had a talented roster to work with over the years and if he had you can bet he would have won a few titles. Give him perth and he certianly would have had 1 or two rings. Hell he would make Sydney or United much better then what they are.

The Prather V JPTargument is getting pointless at this point because JPT pretty much passed Prather and is getting better and better by each game. That is a credit to the Perth Development system. Lucas Walker now looks like a all star thanks to the same system.

Funny how a quality player can suddenly become average when dropped into a shitty environment

Or an average player goes into a good environment and looks fantastic, Lucas walker is a prime example, perhaps Prather previously.

Perth and Prather were playing terrible last season until cotton came in and turned it around

"Perth and Prather were playing terrible last season until cotton came in and turned it around."

Actually, while Cotton definitely helped, Perth really clicked at the end of the year once Prather got back to health after some injury issues.

In their seven-game win streak to end the season Prather averaged 23p, 5r and 5a. Yes, Cotton's 45-point GF game was huge, but overall Prather was Perth's most important player last year.

Do you think Prather got those numbers without the assistance of cotton?

Perth barely lost a game when cotton signed

They were 5-4 in his first nine games.

They both helped each other. But at the start of last season Prather had an eight-game stretch where he averaged 24p, 5r and 5a so he was certainly capable of getting those numbers without Cotton.

United look so disinterested/sookie after that 7-0 start by the snakes. They are just so talented but have no heart - even when barely registering a pulse they can close the gap with a rush of big shots - but did you here any enthusiasm ? Any shows of emotion ? Just no heart.

Goulding is such a god damn wanker and a sook. He reefs the ball out of the Taipans Sales manager (ex-wildcats so maybe history ...) who had to go chase the ball after goulding made a token and rather retarded effort to pull back in. Total pretender that bloke - if his talent was like his ego he'd be nba already. United need to ditch his arse and let Ware/Prather be themselves. Vickerman feels like another gaze hamstring by keeping underperformers on the court when they should be benched to remind them they need to perform and not pout

What was Perth's record before cotton signed?

5-4 plus killing it in finals seems pretty good. Perth were bottom when cotton signed weren’t they?

Well they were last for a round and were 2nd the next round. Can't really say cotton was the cause, just that the season was super tight. But cotton is definitely the reason they won the championship.
