He's always done well for his limited minutes.

Deng's shooting stroke is definitely no fluke. Even in garbage minutes last year, he is an outstanding shooter even when contested. On the flip side, I think he's passed the ball about once in 2 years.

I think Joey said the other night Deng is out top scorer and one of the leading scorers in the league on a points per minute basis.

Randle's option is team's and both parties have indicated interest so he's unlikely to leave Sydney, but then its dependent on Zhordan too I suppose. Anything can happen in the last 8 games... food fights maybe?

I doubt Randle would have much interest in returning to Sydney next season but if he and Sobey are going to hook up again it would likely be in Sydney rather then back here.

Sobey mentally just hasn't been the same player this season and even though he's still got a year to go on his contract I suspect he and Joey might've had enough of each other and he and the club might mutually agree to part ways.

I'm sure I read a tweet from Randle when he was playing in Turkey earlier this season saying he still considers Sobey his brother and misses hanging out with him. Maybe it was sarcastic or I just messed it up completely.

Also Randle seems to watch and comment on every Adelaide game. Always talking up Adelaide players on the twitters. You'd think Sydney would tell him to focus on their team a bit, though publicly it seems like they're loving him.

They said on the broadcast on Saturday the Kings have a club option on his contract for next season. That isn't iron clad, but means there is certainly a chance he could be back, especially if they get a decent coach.

This was actually an interesting game to watch. Brisbane had their opportunities and didn't take advantage of them and Adelaide were sloppy at times.

Brisbane looked like they just gave up about half way through OT.

I don't know how involved Lemanis has been in building the roster, but 90% of their problem is the unbalanced roster rather than his coaching IMO. Holt was a redundant pick up given they knew Bairstow wasn't going to be suiting up. Give these guys an import 4/5 man and a slight upgrade on the bench and this is a team right in the hunt.

If only they signed an import big instead of Holt.

I think that was the point of the Buford signing. At the time Bairstow got ruled out for most of of this season they said they were going to sign an import 4/5 to replace him and then signed Buford.

They might not have been able to afford a bigger guy and perhaps gushed over the fact he just went from Italy's Div 2 league to getting onto the Celtics summer league team.
