Pre-playoffs scheduling appears spot on

I know when we first talked about the "one week with no games" prior to the playoffs it felt "strange" but now that we've gone through it, I think it is perfect.

It builds up the anticipation for the Finals.
The NBL is able to have their awards night and "close off" the regular season part of the season.
Players are able to be fresh and closer to their best.
In past years I know a criticism has been that the playoffs felt "rushed" as the NBL tried to hurry up and finish before any AFL hit the screens.

But this year is much better.

I know it was FIBA-driven but IMO they should keep it up for future years.

Its been a good move IMO. Might even help the clubs sell more tickets with the extra time given to advertise. Usually semi final games dont draw big crowds, probably becuase of the small timeframe for people to buy tickets.
