Strong word that Chill may suit up Saturday. even if it is only Willis Reed style it could be the emotional boost to get the team on top
Or, if it was to happen, it could see a sub-conscious drop in intensity and focus in the rest of the team because he is back ... something I believe more likely than a 'boost', particularly if he was to take the court, since there is no way he could be fit, or confident.
This doesn't sound like the right idea. Could just be Joey sending out silly rumours to put United off which I’m ok with... I think. I’m actually I’m not sure.

While only yesterday they didn't do much training , they watched the replay of the last game as a group , courtside and Creek said Childress would not play ..
And Creek is a reliable source? If they were looking at pulling a surprise he wouldn't train especially early in week. If he does he'll get the magic needle just before the game.

All OP implied was that having your teammate out there could inspire you to victory. Nothing about subterfuge.
Hopefully he does play and then they have someone like Smith-Milner attack him hard to test him out.. If he is healthy enough to play he should be fine, otherwise he will be sitting.

Surely he still gets a ring, he has played in the GF series.
Would have been better impact if game was at home, crowd would go nuts. And I don't think Joey would try and play mind games, just play the best you have and see what happens.

I'd be massively surprised if Chill suits up, let alone plays. Shorter categorically ruled it out in the Advertiser article today.

I'd bet that he'll be on the sheet, and suited, and if the game is clearly going to finish in the 36ers favour, and if there's the opportunity, they will put him on the court at the end.

Childress wont be playing. I went down to watch the open training today, and he could barely move one of his arms. It looked like raising it above chest height gave him great pain, but he did throw up a few shots with his unaffected arm. He's out. No miracle coming there.
