United elevate Smith-Milner with two year deal

Melbourne United have signed New Zealand born young-gun Tohi Smith-Milner on a two-year deal.

After spending three years with United as a development player, Smith Milner has earned a spot in team's contracted playing group after proving himself in more consistent opportunities during the 2017/18 season.

At just 22, Smith-Milner found himself with more minutes and responsibilities after fellow big-men David Andersen and Majok Majok both suffered injuries throughout the season.

Agreed that he's shown enough and put in the work to deserve a full roster spot for sure... Hope he does well...

Smith Milner played a few impressive games late in the season.

Moller is 23, Smith Milner 22 and Hooley 26- looking forward to seeing what becomes of them. Hopefully they all take this opportunity and develop into consistent contributors.

Anderson and AJ on the same team, good luck with that. You'll be struggling and the backup will get a lot of court time that is for sure
