Surprising NBL players without jobs

Looking around the league, I see some names on teams and still see some quality on the FA list.
Noteable names still not signed:

Rhys Martin (Crafty and very serviceable. Much better than many PG's that have jobs. Eg: Doyle, Adnam, Hooley)

Shaun Bruce (Solid player with a lot to add. Lacks a consistent jumper, but once again better than many on teams.

Damon Huier (has had some impressive outings, but him and weeks were too similar to keep both, so I thought he’d be signed by now)

Daniel Dillion (Although injured last season, he’d be worth the risk i’d think)

Felix VonHofe (I’m hearing rumblings of an impending signature for him)

"Surprising NBL players without jobs", other than their day jobs.

Adnam is better than all of them. Doyle is under contract so the 36ers can no replace him. The Hooley resigning shocked me, I don't see what United think was so good about him that they picked him over Adnam

I love the irony of the title given they aren't NBL players and probably have jobs.

Thanks Mrs Von Hofe. read the title. it's not about players that may one day play NBL.

Hooley had a great season with United. Played a big part coming off the bench especially towards end of the season. Heard he had a few teams chasing to sign him. Adman will see some minutes in Sydney, always a crowd favourite too

I always thought Brad Hill was decent enough when Barlow was injured.

Igor Hadziomerovic showed signs before he was injured as well.

Wasn't a fan of Hooley early on but well deserved to get another gig.
Adnam pass.

Martin is way better than Kevin White so he must've been asking for too much.

Yes it is very surprising to me that NBL players are without jobs yet employed at the same time.

I doubt Martin would have been a case of "asking too much", maybe a case of "not wanting to take bugger all"? Still a really serviceable veteran though...
