You can look up their job descriptions and find stadium managers on around $60k plus super up to high performance at $75k plus super and some have cars. Leave it to you all to decide what you think..

And there is exactly the problem.
Low salaries equals small pool of suitable applicants, so the end result is people only take it on until they find a real job.

$60K plus super is not low pay in the Adelaide job market. Walk through any suburban call center with over qualified people processing insurance cancellations in sub $50k jobs.

DC I would hope that BSA would be offering roles and responsibilities significant higher than a Call Centre.

Plus the previous comments about turn over of staff would certainly be an issue in such a place.

If you want to hire skilled staff and keep them, businesses need to understand that comes at a price.

60k plus super is super low DC. Most people who already have meaningful employment wouldn't even consider it.

I don't disagree with your above points, but they also don't mesh with the realities of the Adelaide labour market, especially for workers entering the labour market post GFC.

There's a reason why Adelaide is considered to have the best retail staff in the country, and it's not because there is an over-abundance of talented people dying to work in a low paying industry.

There has been a lot of issues with BSA's performance, and salaries may explain some of that, but they do not explain all of it, nor a majority in my opinion.

what I've heard is 12 BSA staff have left in the past 12 months. for such a small organisation that's a lot of experience gone.
