Lightning Strikes at Port Adelaide

Adelaide Lightning are bringing WNBL back to the local South Australian associations, with their first pre-season clash scheduled this Friday night 21st Sept at Port Adelaide Stadium to take on the Sydney Uni Flames.

Adelaide Lightning General Manager, Reece Turner, is pleased to bring elite women's basketball back to the Port.

"We have really enjoyed working with Basketball SA and the West Adelaide Bearcats to make this game possible.

“The club has decided to make the game free to attend, to ensure all fans can have a chance to see this country’s best female basketball players in action."

Adelaide Lightning tip off against the Sydney Uni Flames at 7.45pm at Port Adelaide Stadium.

District U12 Grand Final tips off 6.15.

Admission is free, so bring the family down to enjoy basketball at the district and elite level.

Boti seems to be missing the news sub-editors "MAC Adelaide Lightning tonight inflicted a 76-73 win over Sydney Uni Flames in a WNBL preseason fixture at Port Adelaide recreation Centre." - it must have been a tough tussle to force the sydney team to accept the win. Obviously a very interesting match to watch. :)
