You'd anticipate the top ten being something like:

Bruton, Saville, Smith, Mackinnon, Harvey, Black, Anstey, Hinder, Newley, Holmes. Put Pero and Worthington or Barlow as 11/12 and it's the best they're going to get considering the unavailable players IMO. If Anstey doesn't play, they're in trouble in the middle though. No big 4-men, but the competition isn't expected to be amazing either.

No international players at ALL?

If Anstey doesn't play they are screwed. Too many smalls in that team. Obviously all the quality Aussie bigs are overseas. Who are the main opposition other then Canada?

Kiwi's but I assume Marks (Spurs), Mark Dickel (Turkey?) & Kirk Penney (Europe?) won't be available either.

Of course. So Gold Silver Bronze will be Canada NZ and Aus in no particular order, dependent on draw and who brings who. WOuld be awesome to see Nash out here but that's a mega pipe dream.

OMG!! Nash? You must be joking. Sorry to sound harsh but thats like not going to happen when he's playing plenty of minutes and doing jack!!! 5 turnovers on w/end!!!! He shouldnt even be playing minutes with the 6ers. should be seriously looking at a new career in near future if he doesnt pull his finger out. Put basically he's a has been and people like"libertine" need to get glasses!
On the other hand, How good is Jacob Holmes going! definate player for c/wealth games. If he doesnt get many minutes, it will show how much a yank coach has got faith in Australia's up and coming players

I think you'll find Libertine is talking about Steve Nash, hoping for him to represent Canada. As he said, pipe dream considering the timing of the Commonwealth games!
