The Boomers will start as favourites for the gold medal at next year's Commonwealth Games, but will be strongly challenged by the New Zealand team.

Canada is not sending a team.
Boomers will win the Commonwealth Games as easily as the original Dream Team took out the Olympics.
Boomers swept NZ easily with an under-strength squad to qualify first in oceania for the world champs. No team (including NZ) will be fielding any of their NBA talent.
To be fair, any win by less than 30 should count as a loss against the Boomers. Even then they will take it all out comfortably.
The only chance any other team has is if Goorj's uninventive Sydney-centric coaching ego results Australia's all Sydney starting 5 of Smith, Kendall, Barlow, CJ (if he bothers staying for the CG) and Worthington being played to death resulting in automatic forfeits due to Goorj's refusal to put anyone else on the court.
Competition? There is not competition. End of story.

i reckon Namibia will win. They have a team of athletic 7' ers that can handle the ball and play D. These guys are awesome.

Maybe they should add an 'Australia A' team to put a little competition in the event. Unfortunately I think the whole Games will be one sided.
