Rimas Kurtanitis(sp?) hit a shot in almost the same spot as Stewie to give Tville its first ever road win.

Sapa bank 3 to knock out the Gong...buzzer beater or not?

Saps 3 was to put the game into overtime, and yes it was on the buzzer.

Sixers caused a 5 second violation on Newcastleor Canberra's baseline in '94 I think, then Rob Rose went the length of the court for the tying layup, all in 5.1 seconds. It caused Ot which we later won

Into this category Scott Ninnis' finger roll over the top of Dean Uthoff at Apollo to win by one on the buzzer circa 1990.

Orlando Phillips made a huge dunk against the Wildcats in the last second to win a game at Apollo too.

Bill Jones' put back dunk at Apollo on the buzzer as well. Footage is on the sixers DVD.

Do we count Darnell's foul on Flopper Lowrey as a buzzer-beater? The shots that killed us were after the buzzer.

Billy McCaffrey for the Magic in 1996 in the semi finals (?). That was a real heart breaker.

Was DMac's shot in 2000 at the buzzer? I seemed to remember we had enough time for Cat to get a good look at a three only to miss it badly.

If you're going back to the Apollo days, it has to be Bill Jones putback v Geelong. It seemed like no-one could beat Adelaide that year (1986) and that game was further proof of it.

Good to see ya again, Journo.
