Entertaining finals with men hard tough physical defence. Great display of country character. Both sat down and enjoyed a beer afterwards.

They should invite all country leagues. Open it up, ala the country carnival.

Port Pirie had a Senior Carnival which was open to everyone throughout the state, but it lost competitors interest because it was too expensive to attend - however if they had thrown this kind of prize money to the senior carnival, you would be right Moses Guthrie, Port Pirie woul be pumping with State wide Competitors & it would be huge!
Unfortunately as good of a idea as the Blitz has been, Broken Hill nearly pulled out due to lack of numbers, so why not invite ALL to compete???
