Sydney Kings clean out

After being swept in the grand final series, it looks like the Sydney Kings might be taking some drastic steps and taking the broom to its roster too.

Four Kings are gone. Two have been told to look for other clubs. Sydney is after an import PG and will bring in another college kid to backup the 1/2 spots...
Drew Williamson is a half-decent guard at Metro State, so that might be the backup they're looking for.

Rumoured to be on the move are David Barlow (long suggested to be going to the Dragons), CJ Bruton (Russia), Luke Kendall and Luke Martin.

Some have also suggested Markovic for the Kings...??

It's interesting to see if they have realeased Luke Kendall considering he seemed to play pretty well for the Kings this season. He's definitely a shooting guard maybe the sixers should look at to take over from Maher's spot when he retires.

what about crosswhite? He would fit great.

1- is he under contract?
2- would he jeopordise his boomer career by leaving boy goorj?

Crosswhite - would def fit into to the 36ers lazy/laidback style. He doesnt train hard at all and half asses most the time when he does. Would not hurt his chances of being a boomers if he left, other chumps can play in the boomers gear from else where and still get the hoops baggy green (Jacob...).

Kendall is a very young player, sulks when things dont go his way, trains weak. He doesnt suit the Sydney style, too hardnosed under Goorjian.

Like Martin tho can ball. he can make an impact on a team, would suit the bullets style.

Kings roster is looking like this...

XXXXX/Carter
Smith/XXXXX
Worthington/Barlow
?Knight?/XXXXX
Roberts/Crosswhite

So gun PG (import), decent back up guard (there are rumours....), and another Aussie big (Hinder was a noticeable guest in the Kings 'friends and family' box at Game 3).
