Funny Singlet Presentation photos/movie

Sixers have their Singlet presentation gallery and movie online and have updated the player listing slightly (removed Hawkes basically; same photos, etc).

No article announcing Williams still?

Sixers site

The singlet numbers for 2004/05 are:

5 Maher
7 Nash (no photo of Nash in the gallery)
8 Ng
9 Farley
11 Cooper (not in the player listing or singlet gallery)
12 Holmes
15 Williams (a fresh start?)
25 Hambour
31 Forman
44 Gower
45 Rychart (no photo of Rychart in the gallery)
53 Rees

The video gives you an idea of the evening but it's extremely compressed.

You will see that each player does a little routine when they come out. If you can't work out what they're doing, here's the list (based on Oscar's descriptions and impressions last night):

Maher pretends to lasso the podium and pull himself over.
Nash does the macarena. Ng throws some ninja stars and makes a fighting pose. Farley came on with his hands in the air calling for accolades. Cooper ran his hands through his "hair". Holmes did "the sprinkler". Williams did a dorky spin. Hambour did the reverse running dance. Forman pulled off his tie and pretended to start stripping. Gower pretended to trip on the stairs (I'm assured that it was planned!). Rychart didn't do anything (might've been in shock from Davis saying "Rychart, killing them softly"). Rees did nothing until the crowd booed, then returned, cranked up a chainsaw, cut a hole in an imaginary wall and climbed through it.

Thought I'd add that both of the movie copies are virtually the same with their quality despite the difference in size (QuickTime is 6MB, the WMV is 4MB). Audio is generally quite clear and audible (unless Willie or Phil are talking; bit quiet there in both cases).

If you're on Windows, just go with the WMV because QuickTime's decent compression/quality doesn't really show through this time.

I heard that Gower was going to do an impression of himself getting gunned down in Halo... but wanted to avoid something too obvious and "everyday"... ;)

Sixers leave for NZ at midday today, and return next Wednesday. Best of luck to the team in their three games over there.
