8:55 remaining in the game.

Florida 57 - UCLA 43

UCLA has started a comeback run by draining back-to-back triples in transition. If the pace of UCLA keeps up, this game could come down to the wire.

FINAL RESULTS:

Florida 73 - UCLA 57

UCLA made a late run at the Gators, but just a little bit too late, Florida upped the tempo of the game towards the end and blew out the Bruins with their pressure defense and transition baskets.

Florida shot at 44% from the field (26-58), and 31% beyond the arc (6-19). 21 assists were dished out to go along with 7 steals and only 6 turnovers. Defensive pressure was applied with 10 blocks for the team and a total of 32 rebounds.

UCLA were shooting at 36% from the field (22-61) and a poor effort of only 17% beyond the arc (3-17). With 11 assists between the team and only 4 steals, offensive pressure wasnt at championship level. Winning on the boards with a team total of 37 and only 2 blocks, they werent able to deal with the defensive pressure of Florida, giving up 12 turnovers.

Florida Stats:
J. Noah - 16 points 8 rebounds 6 blocks

L. Humphrey - 15 points on 4-8 from the field

C. Brewer - 11 points 6 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals 1 block

UCLA Stats:
R. Hollins - 10 points 10 rebounds 1 block

J. Farmar - 18 points 4 assists 3 steals

L. Mbah a Moute - 6 points 9 rebounds 1 assist 1 block

cLaRkY's Player Of The Game:
Joakim Noah - Florida
This was well deserved, not only for his stats but also becasue of his on court play and the impact he had on the game. For a 6"11 forward, he has the althleticism and ball control of a guard.

**CONGRATULATIONS FLORIDA for a wel deserved effort**

Billy Donovan must be one of the best coaches in the world. What he has done to that program since coming in is amazing

Noah has handles but he didnt even look at the rim anywhere outside of the paint. NBA these days you must have that 17ft jumper.
Great talent tho, any from the commentators - he didnt play more that 3 mins in last years ncaa tourny TOTAL.

UCLA didnt even look like they should have been in that game let alone had a chance to win... dissapointing by the bruins - playing like the pussys they did i dont know how in the hell they got to the final round.

Billy Donavan - great coach.
