NH - New Webcam Craze

I don't know if this is a new craze or not, but just recently i've come across alot of these webcam videos.

there was another classic on Deadspin.com but i can't find it again.

What's the deal with them? Why are they cropping up all over the place?

That is brilliant - and I love that the guy behind them doesnt even give them a second glance....obviously heard enough of it during rehersals!
