Heard this from someone recently who said they heard this on FiveAA - Any possible truths to the rumour that anyone knows?
70% of the team's ownership must reside fulltime in Adelaide.

Seems crazy that potentinal buyers have to reside in Adelaide.
The only real clause should be that the licence stays in Adelaide. Who gives a rats ar$e where the cash comes from and if they reside in Adelaide or not.
Would the NBL knock back an offer from a financial backer that happens to be based in the UAE?? or as previously joked about on this forum, if Shaq decided to dump a cool couple of million and wanted the licence???

Don't see any reason for there not to be. Remember these are assets being sold by the SA Government and they have an interest in them staying local.
