NH- Big Brother - John and Ashley kicked out

A question for all the Big Brother fans out there (and for the closet case fans that deny watching the show- you know who you are...), does anyone know what Ashley and John did to get kicked out of the house?

Ashley and John were escorted from the house after allegedly sexually assualting fellow housemate Camilla aproximately 4.30am this morning. Camilla was bound and restrained by John, as Ashley preceeded to rub his genitals over her face.

Furthermore for all you BB fans out there - www.behindbigbrother.com (has been up and down all day, currently has this message - The main Behind Big Brother website is currently unavailable due to extremely high demand).

The incident
At approximately 4.30am Saturday morning Ashley and John jumped onto Camilla's bed. John held down Camilla while Ashley knelt over her, apparently slapping her in the face with his penis. At one stage John was holding Camilla down by her head. The incident went to air over the internet streams and several users recorded screen captures which are now circulating the internet. At the time Camilla was quoted as saying "thats not cool".

Here's a no-bullshit way to deal with it all:

- Have the show's host make a short statement explaining the exact circumstances, without sugar-coating anything, on tonight's show, then don't milk it forever like every event on the show.

- Ask Camilla the following questions in a private diary room session:
"Did you consent to the sexual activity that occured?"

- If she says yes, forget about it all

- If she says no, then ask
"Do you want to press charges?"

Easy.

3 - good call.

The avoidance of details from official channels doesn't help their situation. Also, the goodbye statement from John and Ashley is ridiculous.

One thing to consider is how this will impact Camilla's chances. She was second-favourite to win and this could realistically boost her stock (sympathy vote) or hurt her chances.

John was second-favourite at one point recently, so tough luck wanker. Sexually assaulting someone on national television - what a career move...

Although I don't watch a lot of the show, from what I understand of the situation, this could put Camilla into a position where she could more than likely win the lot, whether you loved her or hated her before the incident. For the next few weeks, this case will give her a lot of sympathy points, especially with the female voters, and even more points with a fair percentage of the guys. And it will teach those idiots about breaking the rules: you just cannot do it without paying the price in more ways than one... in this situation, they will pay a lot higher price than just losing the chance of winning some easy money... it will ruin their chances in the real world as well, so serves them right!!!

Mmmmmm. BB is not sliping in the ratings is it?

I believe I heard the girl involved say a number of times that she was not offended, it was a bit of a laugh & that when the guys looked like overstepping the mark she said NO & they stopped. The girl seems more upset that the 2 guys have been kicked out than what is alleged to have gone on.

I was an avid BB viewer until last year when the AO show was totaly over the top in smutsville. I used the remote and switched off. I now watch the show only occasionally (I did not even know that 2 new intruders had been put in)

I like a lot of Australians have watched BB tonight and I recon the verdict is that it had more to do with ratings than any percieved sexual misconduct.

Lets face it the show has denigrated into a show full of sexual voyerism. The producers have manipulated the situation.

Im with the pollies who want the show axed.Get this filth off our screens. Pornography is freely available to society today with out having it shown on free to air TV. Some people (minors) should not have the chance to see this trash.

As much as Channel 10 would never admit it, the whole concept of Big Brother has always seemed to revolve around the prospect that housemates might possibly engage in sexual activity. It's really designed for people who haven't got any activity of their own happening in their life, but feel too much guilt watching pornographic films. The show has had it's time and it should be axed, not because it's lewd or crude, but because it's stale and boring.

Remember when the most controversial parts of this series were "the mum and daughter" and "the gay cowboy"!

I totally agree. Big brothers time has past.

The producers may have thought this was a way to show Australians that they will not tolerate such behaviour and have been seen to act with severe authority.

What it looks like is a childish prankwere the girl involved even admits that she was not offended. Did anynoe here the audio on Nova this morinig. It was so lame.

This is a ratings excercise that I think will back fire on the shows producers. They normallt egg on this sort of behaviour.

Swing the axe, now.

Don't like it but 1.7 million viewers last night may disagree that it should go. As long as it rates it will stay.
