what is it with the volume of spam of late - my email is bombarded - more than ever - even on hoops we seem to be getting more than ever?
or am i imagining things?

You are not imagining it - it is ridiculous, and fighting it chews loads of time. A lot of keywords are blocked on Hoops SA, and stuff still gets through. Scum.

Over the last 3 months I recon it is as bad as I have seen it. I am getting hit with tons of stockmarket reports and people wanting me to buy high quality fake watches!!!!

i can highly recommend a spam blocker called coffee cup spam blocker and its free. it even bounces the emails back to get revenge.

I tell you what, there is no point in bouncing SPAM as 9 times out of 10 they are from a ficticious address and it will go no where or it will bounce back to some poor person that has had their address spoofed.
Also as a quick stat about 80 - 90% e-mail at present is either SPAM or virus mail.
Some companies get an amazing 93-95% SPAM
