Top Spot

Have Sturt secured Top spot in both the Men and Womens ABA Competitions.

I think the women definately have, with a game over North and a head to head advantage on Points. North beating Forestville last night assured them of top spot.

While in the Men, Forestville losing to North put Sturt a game ahead. With Sturt to play South this week, albeit without Forman and Smylie, one would expect Sturt to have enough to win. And even if they lose. Forestville face Eastern who are playing for the last spot, in what could be a tough game.

Thoughts!

Eastern playing for 3rd 4th or 5th
cant miss playoffs. Will probably come down to splits, margins or percentage for those positions. Great comp - no certainties.

Don't forget South running over Sturt in the men last year in the finals lead-up - take out Smylie and the Sabres have a single go-to man and a lot of role players?

I have only watched a few games but sturt look very convincing and look a strong team with lots of depth, they will still be hard to beat, even without a few of there starters.

Didnt Forestville find Sturt not that hard to beat only last week?

and North got over Forestville this week with, based on earlier claims in an earlier topic, a coach who can't coach.
