Don't expect anything any time soon. Although I'm 100% sure the deal has been done, there won't be an announcement this week as Foley et al are busy trying to crunch the rest of the numbers needed to actually hand down a State Budget.
The cash that will come in from the sale is insignificant considering how much money will be needed to balance the books this year.
What more can we expect from our "go nowhere, do nothing Government"?

i hate allam scott, the way he treated mark williams was so wrong. He is a sponsor, he backs the team with his cash and if he is not happen when his contract is up he should move on. dont take shots at people in the public.
Government Cabinet approved it today, that's what the news reported.
The local presidents must approve it later this week, then the NBL late next week. I would guess they will announce it after the above has been done.
While this covers the sale of assets is there any further developments/news on what changes will occur to basketball generally in SA and when that is likely to occur?
