EAGLES WIN!!!!! IN THRILLER :]

Eagles won by a point, down by two and dixie pulled a three with approx. 9 seconds to go!
Up by 24 at three quarter time, down by one with 28 seconds to go
Better form hopefully in the finals, but overall a great game to watch for any team supporter.

Jason Dix - 18 Pts, 19 Rebs (2O - 17D)

TEAM - 34/92 FG, 17/41 3PFG, 60 Boards

Forestville def. Norwood 94 - 92

F-Ville | N-Wood
1st Qtr - 28 - 16
2nd Qtr - 25 - 23
3rd Qtr - 28 - 22
Final Qtr - 13 - 31

With 9 and 1/10 of a second to go, Jason Dix nailed a 3PFG from a Matt Sutton Ast to lead 94 - 92. Norwood battled back from a huge gap at 3 Qtr time and lead with <1min to go, and some tension in the large crowd showed towards the end. Norwood had the last 9 seconds to score, but it was stolen by F/Ville who ran down the clock and the game was theirs. BC did play some time despite last weeks injury.

Great game. Eagles were up by 20 early on and looked like they'd extend it, but Matthews pulled the Flames back into it.

Cooper's stats give 94.5 HSA - highest in the last couple of years of ABL. 36 rebounds! And 9 assists on top of that. And I thought he didn't play at his best either - incredible!

How was Dix's block when Cooper went for the big dunk in the last minute or so?

Unbelievable night of Basketball at Wayville, marred only by the idiotic Norwood supporters.

Sullivan lived up to his reputation as a big game player, stroking 4 three's in the first quarter.

Mathews absolutely taking over down the stretch for the Flames... 16 points in the 4th, and inspired his boys.

Dix hitting the gamewinning 3!! Don't know who drew that play up?

All this on top of a classic womens game where the Tigers looked home after trailing big... only to miss 4 straight free throws at the death. (They were 12/12 from the stripe until those last 10 seconds, I believe)

Good night for South Australian Basketball.

Go Flames! Yay!
A good night for both teams with outstanding results. It was a bit squishy without the grandstands, but other than that, it was very enjoyable.
There were a few very strong supporters of Norwood and Eagles in the crowd though...
