For those of you who were interested in the sportal dream team from last year it has been put back up on the sportal website... but it says that it is not likely to be up and running until round 3. Good news that it is back up there but will have to stay tuned for the tip off date!

Saw on OzHoops that the NBL have commissioned some company to create NBL Dream Team and maybe they're running behind schedule. (a) what was wrong with the Sportal competition? All you need to do is change the players and prices! (b) why not use the NBLGM comp? That seems to be reasonably popular?

the nblgm comp is really crap, out of date players galore. also i think sportal/vapormedia/virtualsports will still be running the new one you are talking about, it will probably just be like the nutri-grain afl team and have a name sponsor

why round 3? i mean, didn't they have the WHOLE OFF SEASON to organise themselves? this really spoils a great competition.

Thats stupid though because now everyone can see who are the good imports are and everyone will just get them....plus now they wont be as cheap as they were last year as they will increase the price depending on how good their first 2 rounds are. Glad its still going ahead though but like wak said...THEY HAVE HAD THE WHOLE OFFSEASON TO ORGANISE THIS, and its a bloody long offseason. Disappointing it wont be ready for round 1.
