most assists scored in one game

just checked the scores for the new jersey nets vs wshington wizards and jason kidd got 18 assists i know this isnt a record but it would have to be pretty close wouldn't it in NBA NBL or any other league around minus social or school

Well, the NBA record is 35, set by Scott Skiles, so it's not even close to that, but it's a fair effort.

Still on the same record, however it should be noted that Shaq was not even playing for the Magic at that time...Also I read an interview years ago that quoted Scott Skiles as saying that his team mates cost him a few more assists due to dribbling before their shot...I don't think anyone will get near that record...

J Kidd had a triple double as well today...damn it, against my Fantasy team...that hurts.
