New York Knicks

The $100,000,000 New York Knicks have come up with their second win for the season, coming up comfortable winners over the Wizards, 102-82.

Was an even spread of scorers for the Knicks with top scorer being Balkman with 18 & 7. David Lee had a good game with 10, 15 & 3.

For the Wiz Arenas had 22, 3 & 5 & Jamison had 20 & 9.

How many games do people think the Knicks need to win before Isiah is safe?

The only way Isiah will be safe is for his crappy roster to make the playoffs....

it was there 3rd win of the season the won in memphis opening night in triple OT and won in Denver. beating the Wizards for there 1st home win of the season.
the knicks need 40 wins for him to be safe but if they fall into a hole he could get axed at the allstar break

they need a winning record or he goes, the team is stacked with plenty of potential, no reason why they shouldnt be able to make playoffs. if they dont make it, then goodbye starbury aswell

how's he gonna get axed?

he is the boss.

he wont axe himself, however he may bring in another coach if he cant get everything out of the team.

or he'll just go out and trade up his team for a new one

The owner Dolan has put him on notice achtung baby, if he doesn't succeed, he is out the door.
Would be great for the NBA if this happened IMO, as he is a cancer to every front office he has been involved in..

When they sack Brown and Isiah was given the reins Dolan stated that since Isiah created the crap roster then he should guide the crap roster. Brown told him to was crap, Isiah didn't believe him. He's been given a season by Dolan to short the mess out of he's gone.

Like the picture says, we'll have forgotten how good a player Isaiah was by the time all this tomfoolery is finished. And to think that my team can swap first round picks with New York this year. Hee hee.

It's really a win/win situation for Knicks fans, as they will either have a playoff team or will be able to move on with life without Isiah

nah, get rid of starbury, hes cancer to the locker room... trade him off for some good young talent, ideally a decent big man... Isiah is good for the team, as its an uptempo team you would think, and Isiah was an uptempo player, aslong as he continues on the path he is on, he is playoff bound... Knicks are without a doubt the dark horse this season, but should upset a few teams in the long run

It's a crappy roster that can't and won't win. Crappy rosters doesn't mean they are individually talented players.

If your a GM is there anyone on that roster you would want??? The only players they can move are probably David Lee and Channing Frye and that's because they are still on rookie contracts and can actually play.

Look at it...

GUARDS:

Starbury - mainly a shot first PG with issues. Untradeable contract. Lockeroom cancer. Never been on a winning team, in fact teams improve once he's gone.

Francis - refer to Starbury. Untradebable contract. Whinges like a biatch. Crappy attitude. Done zero since leaving Houston. Wonder they Orlando got rid of him for expiring contracts and Ariza....

Nate: Really too short to play a lot of minutes. More of a sparkplug.

Crawford: Ok, he's decent and starting to play. So inconsistant it's not funny. 40 points one game, 4 the next.

FORWARDS:

Q: Starting to find form, but one fall from a screwed back. No-one will insure him and is untradable due to that. Not worth the risk.

Frye: How do you spell cupcake??? Soft with no defence and would prefer to shoot from the outside and not bang it inside.

Lee: The ONLY player I'd want on my roster. He's a stud that hussles and plays tough with an attitude. Bangs the boards really well. The new Oakley

Jefferies: Injury prone, but I'm not really sure why Isiah spent $60 million on him. Good defender.

Rose: The only guy on the roster with 2 rings, but gets no burn.

Balkman: Unknown at the moment like every other rookie.

CENTRE:

Curry: Soft, fat and just not very good for his tangibles. Plays SFA defence. Isiah told him to be a man, which means he's the biggest softest pussy in the NBA. Curry trade could of been Tyrus and possibly Oden.

James: Pass...... waste of $$$

Cato: Never used so who cares

That looks pretty crappy to me, and will remain crappy for a long time.

That traded for Curry and gave you Tyrus and possibly Oden. Dumb.......

They are sooooo far over the cap it's stupid, especially when you had $25 million coming of the books at the end of the season, but your moron GM buys out their contracts for nearly the same amount.

Things stink in MSG and it's not going to improve anytime soon.

Crawford doesn't pass,he shoots basically ever, I'm willing to write them off again, the amount of money this team has wasted in signing players, paying out contracts of ex players and coaches is scandalous and they are a blight on the NBA as a whole , if I was there i'd boo as well .

Well hopefully 3 good things come out of their season.
1. They miss the playoffs
2. Isiah gets the arse
3. The Bulls get the number 1-3 pick because not only do the Knicks stink so bad, but their GM made one of the worst trades ever...
ha ha still laughing we got rid of Curry when no one else wanted him, and are still owed another pick..GOLD!
