Funny NBL All Star Game announced

Bloody hell, the all star game announced, and its on a wednesday night again!!!!!

The game will be held in Townsville in January. It'll feature the return of the dunk competition (the NBL are going to fly the top dunkers from around the league in for it) and the All Star game itself will see the Australian Allstars match up against the World Allstars (i.e., imports, including Kiwis).

Apparently a couple of other clubs put in bids to host the event, but Townsville were deemed the best bet.

It will be interesting to see who gets picked for either team.

The last Australian vs. Imports formula back in 1994 the Australians gave the imports a hiding and I can't see it being any better this time.

I really like this concept; Aussies verses the rest alot more than the East/West, it just makes alot more sense.

I would rather see east coast versus the rest :-)

East Coast: Melbourne, Sydney, West Sydney, Brisbane, NZ

Rest: Perth, Adelaide, Hunter, Wollongong, Townsville, Cairns

Ok Townsville and Cairns is a stretch :-)
