Jazz make it 16-5
Today the Utah Jazz improved there record to 16-5 after beating the Dallas Mavericks at home 101-79.
The 22 point victory was Utah coach Jerry Sloan's 1000th victory becoming only the 5th coach to do do so. Carlos Boozer scored 31 and pulled down 11 boards to lead the Jazz. Sophomore Deron Williams scored 18 and dished out 7 dimes. Matt Harpring was also strong off the bench with 15 points. The Jazz broke the 2 game losing streak.
Dirk Nowitzki was strong for the visitors with a strong double double of 26 points and 10 boards.
A firey 1st quarter saw 3 technicals called in the space of 5 seconds. 1 each to Dirk Nowitzki, Derek Fisher and Anthony Johnson.
