Voss would probably have an out clause in his contract with West Coast if a Head Coaching job was offered to him. But he did say that he wanted to get some experience elsewhere before taking on a big job like that. He signed with the Eagles for 2 years only a couple of months ago.

Justin Leppitsch as the instant replacement?

He did coach in the pre season and good @ the job, contains some AFL experience.

No way @ Michael Voss right now. He'll fulfil the duties with the Eagles.

Brown signs a 4 yr deal. Isn't it funny that he signs when Lethal steps down. Was there a rift between the 2 as speculated?

Leppitsch was just mentioned on the radio news as LIKELY. ( Blight would be exciting IMO)

Apparently Brown signed the new deal before the weekend & only found out about Matthews quitting today. He described Matthews as a great coach & friend. But who knows... they only tell the public what they want you to hear! The supposed rift between the 2 could be just another media beat-up.

Kevin Sheedy will be offered a 2 year contract and then Voss will take over in 2011.

Chooco to get out of contract and head to Brisbane.
Brown to get out of contract and head to Power.
Matthews to join Power as coach.

Voss has been given permission to speak with the Lions. I think he will get the gig. If not Lynch may be a dark horse.

You would have to be crazy to sign Vossy. Just by listening to his commentary on channel 10 you can tell he's an idiot - He wrote an article saying Cyril Rioli should be All-Australian FGS!!! Champion player but would be a shower coach IMO.
