New senior season starts too soon

What does everyone think about the new senior season starting so soon?

the finals finished last week what every happened to an off season.

Some teams have older guys who just can't back up without at least a two week off season to just rest?

totally agree a lot of the teams will not have their full roster as players take a few weeks break.
There should be a break in between seasons, even if it is just 2 weeks.

I was only talking to another player today about this, and how ridiculous it is having the season/pre-season so close. What ever happened to the couple of months break? It has now become an almost all year round season. I know one club is starting pre-season in 3 weeks, it is crazy! For no substantial money/medical support etc it seems very unreasonable!

the reason for pre-season is to start looking trim and gorgeous in the shorts and singlets. you have to do justice to the uniforms. You can't have fat unfit and hideous people running around the court in small outfits ..that would just be hideous
