The Minnesota Timberwolves have relieved Head Coach Dwayne Casey of his coaching duties.
Assistant coach Randy Wittman has taken over the coaching role for the remainder of the 2006/07 season.
With the T'wolves sitting 8th in the Western Conference with a record of 20-20, on a 4 game losing streak. Do people think this was a good move by T'Wolves management?

Dwayne Casey is a good coach. Fact is that TWolves have a very poor roster.

Bracey Wright has not received any burn (and has been vocal about his felings on this) - and Minny may end up regretting that when he leaves and starts to get PT...
Randy Foye`s PT is all over the place... Both of these guys are young and talented but getting stuff all PT (Foye has upped a bit - but Wright has got nothing)...
This comes down to Casey. The team is not great but it is not the worst team in the West... And the situation will only get worse when McCants comes back... Casey has mismanaged the team big time...
He may be a very good coach - but they needed to get rid of him...

They are in the playoffs at the moment, so its a weird move. They must have doubted him for a while...
Not many coaches get fired when they have a poor/young team (besides Garnett) and they are still at .500
The reason the T'Wolves are rubbish is because of McHale
