NBL live scores failing. Best bet seems to be to reload the NBL front page every couple of minutes.

Down 52-47.

Looks like 81-70 at three-quarter time.

Horvath 13, Majstro 12, Copeland 11, Maher 10, Farley 9.

For the Dragons, Franklin 21, Holmes 19, Ingles 15, Heal 13.

Rebound count seems to be 20-23 if you believe the stats??

Isaac,

I think that is at halftime. Farley started on the bench, Ng and Sutton DNP-CD so far. Considering the way Ng played the other night, does anyone else think that is a bit rough?

Yet again Horvarth fouls out. At least he had better output in the 2nd half tonight. Just think if we didn't get them 56 foul shots, where they made 44 of them compared to our 22 from 28. Yes we shot better from the stripe but to give up so many to your opposition is just ridiculous.

"Yet again Horvarth fouls out." if thats the first thing you see when u look at that box score thats just sad.

34 and 11 for him tonight, THAT's what happens when he takes 20+ shots.

Dragons cheated, NBL site tells us that Holmes scored this

South Dragons 149 (Franklin 32, Holmes 30, Holmes 28)
Adelaide 36ers 147 (Horvath 34, Maher 29, Copeland 25)

Now clearly someone counted holmes score twice!!! I demand Action

Horvath fouled out pretty early in the 4th quarter (roughly around 3 minutes in I think), just after he started to show some real inside presence scoring 6pts in a row.

Defense is something both teams really need to learn and for the Dragons surely that has to be a worry going into the finals?!

Copeland was mr clutch hitting the long range bomb to send it into OT - Much to everyones amazement Phil went with AJ in the OT and Copes warmed the bench (hamstring problems).

Some confusion with the scoreboard at the game showed 149-148 with the Sixers with possesion (approx 20 secs remaining), Maher went for a nice drive, double teamed and just couldnt get it to climb over the rim. However actual score was 149-147 - Would Maher/36ers gone for the glory 3 having known that? (BTW Phil used his timeouts! Even in the OT about 2 mins in! So for the first time I say - perhaps he could have managed the timeouts a little better LOL, would have been real handy to have one to sort out a last play.

It was good to see the guys fight back from what was looking like a possible blowout early on - Jacob scored teh Dragons first 11 points, Phil didnt even cross his legs, surely a coach who knows a player inside out would try something!?!!

Farley was a waste of space tonight (this is harsh but true) whenever he hit the court the team play dropped, all players energy levels seemed to drop, and we just stunk it up! Not a great way to see him off.

Eyewitness account from a Dragons fan - always interesting to read:

Just got back from Geelong and what can I say. Best game of NBL i've seen for a very long time!

Right from the first play of the game, when Brent Hobba rejected the shit out of a Nick Horvath's dunk attempt, it was on.

Absolute shootout! Jacob Holmes was on fire hitting everything and scoring out first 11 points. Kavossy was damaging, Heal got teched and bombed away from everywhere.

Ingles 24 in less then 24 minutes. Darren Ng also tried to start him

Rosell!! 22 boards Didn't do alot offensively, but FCUK ME!!

Game was very entertaining, and also possibly the last ever game for Lenard Copeland in Victoria, and was presented with a little something special by Cowan and Lindsay Gaze. Copes wound the clock back 10 years with 1 special play. About 6.5 secs left on the clock in regulation, Dragons up 3, Mahar inbounds to Copes, who goes coast to coast, launches a fade away 3 that goes in, sending the game into OT!!! It was classic Copes

Brent Hobba started in place of the out of form Drmic and delivered from the start. As I mentioned, absolutely destroyed Horvath on the first play, "Return to sender" kinda stuff. Swatted Horvath 2 more times, including an equally as big one. Hit 3 triples, was strong inside and is in great form.

My play of the game would have to goto Jingles. 1st quarter, gets the ball at the top of the key with Farley guarding him. Fakes right, blows past Farley left, 1 bounce down the middle of the key for a 2 handed slam. Just did it so easy.

For the Sixers, Horvath was tough as hell, especially in the 2nd but ended up fouling out. Stuffed up a dunk aswell But his post moves more then made up for that.

Mahar was fantastic again, 29 and 11 assists. Copes was great, but jacks it way too much. Majstrovich big 2nd quarter, was shooting well. And Dr Ng hit 3 big triples in the last, to keep the 36ers in it.

Also, did I mention how terrible Willie Farley is????

LMAO, Joe scoring AGAIN after Farley tries to guard him. Joe is left handed so OF COURSE he most of the time will go left.
