Carlos Powell signs in the Ukraine

Azovmash Sign Ricardo Powell

Azovmash' vice-president Boris Maletskiy told basket.com.ua that Azovmash signed American forward Ricardo Powell (201 cm, born in 1983) whose last club was New Zealand Breakers.

Ricardo had the best results in his team, averaging 28.2 points in 39.6 minutes and making 5.5 rebounds.

This American is supposed to come on the 17th and his contract has a duration of one year with possible prolongation for another year.

Didn't Brett Wheeler get diagnosed with "possible prolongation" for his injuries at some stage this past season? :)

I wonder if he has an NBA out clause in that contract ?

Maybe he's happy with the money and doesnt want to play in the NBA right now.

In other news The Aussie version of Sportscentre just refered to Bonzi Wells as 'Bonsai' hahaha. No clue in this country, but they try...they try hard.
