Horvath breaks thumb, out 4-6 weeks

Adelaide 36ers 2006/07 import Nick Horvath has broken his thumb in New Zealand and will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks.

Horvath was dining at a Japanese restaurant, went to close a window, only to have it fall and crush his thumb - breaking it in four places.

Horvath was to be playing under 36ers assistant coach Kevin Brooks with the Saints in the NZ NBL. The team are seeking a part-time replacement until Horvath is able to return.

Weak Isaac. Paul Rees is more likely to choke on a chicken bone.
