Liam Rush deemed Most Improved

Liam Rush from the West Sydney Razorbacks has picked up the NBL's Most Improved award for this season.

Rush increased his regular season scoring average from six points a game last season to 14.7 in 2006/07.

His rebounds nearly doubled from 2.9 a game in 2005/06 to 5.6 per game this season.

The 25-year-old also improved his shooting accuracy from 42 per cent to 58 per cent from the field and from 28 per cent to 47 per cent from the three-point line.
He barely beat Paul Rogers though who proved an interesting case given that he had previously won league MVP.

A deserved winner, IMO.
