Where to for the NBL Sponsorship

With Philips stating that they won't be renewing their naming rights sponsorship. Where does the NBL head?

Does it - if for example Eddie was to offer up the cash - take the money or is it a conflict of interest? Is there any other companies that would really want to put money into something such as the NBL?

Ideas/Opinons?

Surely Burton would only be doing this if he had an alternative lined up?

I just hope its a good mainstream consumer fit for the league - car brand, sports brand, another electronics brand, etc.

Eddie already puts a lot of money in. The official balls last season had an ABC logo for instance. I cant see how it would be a conflict.

Even so, even $1.5m for a years sponsorship isnt _really_ that much these days with the economy the way it is.

Virgin Blue comes to mind as a replacement.
