Are Junior games going to be moved when the sixers play on Friday nights?

I agree with Nutwork, I think Wednesday night games are part of the reason crowd numbers suffered last season.

Having mainly weekend games is awesome!

The All-Star game is on a Wednesday, BAD move by the NBL.

At least we arent playing the "Blaze" as we have a bad habit of losing to new franchises .

No news on the Blitz :(

Fewer Wed games is good for local fans, but people in other states wont get the chance to see them as often on Fox Sports.

i like that each team play each other twice but the 'random' selection of games when we play a team three times is bull.

Home and Away games are in blocks rather than one home one away. Could this tire the Sixers in the long run?

I think that last post pretty accurately reflects the 36ers chances in the coming season .

Clubs are gushing about the draw. Snakes calling it the "best", Dragons calling it "fan-friendly", 36ers "could not be happier", Hawks are "excited", and the Breakers "like draw".

Only one visit by New Zealand to Adelaide (booo!), and fewer games than last year, right?

3 Friday games isn't enough but i like all of the Saturday games.

I'm with you Isaac. One visit per team is not enough. Only playing each team twice means you lose the season split rivalry unless a team wins both. I guess they'll cover it by the highest average score over the 2 games.

Friday nights is the night when junior basketball is played.

Conflicting with Junior basketball is a major issue for both the 36ers and Lightning IMO.

I would think the club pushed for few Friday night games to ensure that they wouldn't conflict with juniors, that way ensuring all basketball fans had the ability to come to games.

One Friday currently is a conflict with lower Division Grand Finals and the other Friday night games are being held on Fridays when the Junior Competition is not being held.

This to me is the biggest and most important move forward by the 36ERS/NBL in the schedule.

Just so you know, the only clash the 36ers will have all season with Junior games is round 1. They actually requested no friday games during the junior season but could not budge on round 1. I think you will find the 36ers (under Mal) are looking to give alot more back to the junior clubs and develop and strong working relationship with them.

Remember the Sixers are only playing 6 less games than last season so it's not a huge difference. Each team plays each other twice PLUS four other games against random teams.
