Lightning Sign Camino

THE Lightning have struck again, securing another of Australia's top young basketball talents in scoring phenomenon Renae Camino.

The 177cm Wollongong-born guard averaged 17.2 points for the AIS in the 2005 WNBL season and was hotly-pursued by Adelaide.

Now we need to get Francis and we will have the best class since the brogan, boyd, harrower group.

A big signing.
Chris should be congratulated.

Yes a great signing but there goes Dee. If people thought that she didn't get enough minutes last year well this year will be worse. If she plays at all.

Didn't think Dee was playing anyway.
Thought she was taking up a career carrying a gun and dressed in blue.

Excellent signing. Grab one or both of Bishop and Francis and we're laughing.

We will never get Bishop .

Francis could be a marquis player of the likes of Sporn.

Great pick up. Chris tried hard to recruit her out of the AIS but missed out. Great news that he has been successful this time around.

There is a massive chance of signing Bishop..... in the future but not while she has commitments to Australia.

Bishop was looking to sign with Adelaide after her stint at the AIS & was even close to signing with them last year however being right next door to training with the sapphires her final destination was decided as she is a girl who knows what needs to be done to achieve a dream coming from a little country town of Laura/Port Pirie.

Bishop's mum is off enjoying life in the NT sharing the work load with her brother at a holiday destination site, so the sway to stay in Canberra was easier.

BUT

Bishop & Francis share a close friendship from competing against each other over the course of many years at Country Championship level & competing with each other at State/National level & very wise decision would be to chase Francis for a signature & it will then give Bishop a relatively large reason to come to Adelaide in the future to share the court & MANY, MANY championships!

GO LIGHTNING!
