think Romeos' game against a good opponent which led to Norwood winning is more deserved than Beaty in a losing side

POTW Selector,
what guage do you use to select a player of the week?
do you take into account wether or not the players team had a win?
do you take into account where the players opponent sit on the ladder?
on the CABL site there is a stats section where every player is given an "Index os Success" Rating. this is likened to the Hoops SA Rating that has been given in the past on this very site.

This week in the women the IOS (index of success) was as follows
Jodie Barratt 30
Erin Lorenzini 29
Tracey Beatty 26
Carly Stark 24
Jenah Piwanski 20
Nicole Romeo 20
Hannah Bowley 19
Lauren King 19
Nerrida Cooper 18
Kristi Ollino 17

This ranking would have Jodie Barratt as POTW but because her team lost it should move to Erin Lorenzini. However North beat a struggling Woodville team so lets move to Beatty-lost, on to Stark.

Because Stark's Flames Defeated Southern (a contender this season) it would make sense to award Player of the week to Carly Stark

Any thoughts?

I would also like to add that because the league is full of great players, it could be shared around. Round 5 and Tracey now has 3 POTW titles. If there is a definite standout for the week then it should go to that player but when there a other worthy winners as well, then perhaps other indicators show be looked out. e.g. Erin Lorenzini amassed her great stats from just 23 minutes of play.

I was at that match, and can honestly say tracy had no real opposition.
did anyone take into account the size of the norwood team she played against.

Carly and Nicole both stood out much more than Tracy did, id actually say that Tamara Walker played better. Every single point of Tracy's was either a offensive rebound return or a pass to under the basket where no one really could stop her!!!

Basically she really did not deserve it this week, other weeks yes fair enough if she was outstanding, but she did not stand out this week and defiently did not deserve the POTW award
