Some say that he has already signed with the Tigers but i highly doubt it.

It is stupid to make threads like this which says "sixers miss out again."

This thread should be locked.

Tigers are the new Kings, spending big and getting all the talent. It wouldn't surprise me, why would he go to Adelaide and miss out on a ring. With that lineup Melbourne are guaranteed champs next year.

Seriously though if you think about it there is not many positives going for Newley if he stays here. How is he going to benefit by being a sixer? he'd be mad to stay.

Wouldnt signing for the Sixers help Newley, he would get more court time, be a standout player in the team. Surely his performances in adelaide would look better to the scouts than he would by being surrounded by the tigers lineup.

you're wrong.

Get insurance by signing with an NBL team than have a go at the NBA Draft. If he doesn't get drafted, Newley said in an interview that he would rather develop in the NBL than sit on the bench in Europe.

abc123 is right. That is what he said, so if he doesn't get drafted, the Sixers could be a force to be reckoned with.
