Could Andrew Rice suit the 36ers?

What do people think of Andrew Rice becoming a Sixer and Back up PF to Ballinger, he is only 2 points?? Or would people prefer a younger Simon Conn??

He is a big body that bang on the boards and be used as a depth player, if we can pick him up for a cheap price it will be a good move IMO.

C: Cooper / Rice
PF: Ballenger / Dench
SF: Import / Copeland
SG: Maher / Ng
PG Davidson / Sutton

Add a Brad Newley to that Sixers guard rotation and we automatically become a contender.

Because he is on the decline - i would sign Kane Oakley over him ALL day !

Anyone know what points Oakley is rated ?

DJ - 4 PPG, 3 RPG, 0.5 APG. Assist per turnover ration of 1:2, 28% from long range and 55% from the stripe.

I think guys like Aaron Olson and Paul Henare might be rated a four, and Olson would get easily superior stats to Rice.

would love to know what would be the points for guys like Nic Campbell from Tasy coming out of college, or any of those other Dev 1 senior college guys, should they consider the NBL option.

considering they are not free agents yet until they graduate, yeah where they go will be interesting.

Players returning from college are rated a 3.

Having seen Andrew Rice play last year for Bendigo in the SEABL he would be a bad choice for the Sixers. Poor attitude, big head (literally), would give them 2 3pt shooting bigs. Much prefer Conn, Dodman or any other young bigs from Adelaide.

Rice is pretty crap. Will give you 15 mins a game and most likely foul out. He;s not great on the boards and has no post game. His NBL career is over!

If College Players returning are rated a 3 and we are looking at making Sutton 11th man, then could it be that we are looking at a returning Collegiate Player??
