Joe Ingles to join the Sabres in the ABL

Ok a shit stirring title,
but Joe is about to join the Sandringham Sabres in the Big V.
Tigers people must be annoyed since he was instructed by the Dragons to sit the off season out and not play here in Adelaide.
Funny also how Daddy boss Cowan has big ties with the club seeing his kids play there.

Yes Tiger people must be upset with this. However why would you want a player to come to Adelaide and play for a team when he can stay in Melbounre and do the same thing. With a just as good comp if not better then ours. Also be able to do whatever the Drangons want him to. They have more control if he plays over there then if he played here.

Joe was never going to play for Tigers and Heath Jury knew that from the start. North also spoke to Joe about playing for them.

At the end of the day Joe is committed to the Dragon and has to do wat they tell him to do.

Take Darren Ng for example not playing ABL at the moment because Phil wants him to bulk up. Therefore playing for Sturt takes a back seat.

Darren Ng was not told by phil to not play for sturt, as I understand his personal trainer (ex sturt player) has told him not to play while bulking up

I thought he was asked by the 36ers to sit the off-season out completely to recover from minor injuries, but before he signed with them, he elected to start with the ABL side. Eventually, they reached a compromise.
