5AA-Phil Interview

I listened to the Phil Smyth Interview last night on 5AA and he was talking about the Sixers roster.

Schenscher is still a possibility as if he doesn't get in an NBA club it may be too late to go to Europe and Luke has also told the Sixers about good possible imports in the mould of Sam McKinnon that he has played against.

Copeland is almost over the line (for a fair while now)and the Sixers have one development spot left.

----------------------

C Cooper/Dench
F Ballinger/Copeland
F Import/Ng
G Newley/Sutton
G Maher/Davidson

Dev.
1. Dodman
2. ???

That would be a very small team!

C Schenscher/Cooper
F Ballinger/Dench
F Newley/Copeland
G Maher/Ng
G Davidson/Sutton

This would be a far better team.

Well done for pointing out that adding a NBA playing 7"2 centre to the teamn would add some height and make the team better.

Good to see the big guy (Schensher) at the State Champs watching his sister play.

that sounds great hope we do get a import like a mackinon or D.Thomas, and Schenscher would know alot about the guys he has played against in the D-legue, that team does look a bit small, but if we move Sutton back to 11th man and pick up another big guy its not too bad and with Dench or Cooper off the bench and able to play PF and C and each about 30 mins a game along with Ballinger and possibly a few minutes in the PF spot from the other import i dont think size is too bad, the NBL isnt the biggest league going around anyway.

123abc, you said "Copeland is almost over the line"

Don't you mean:

Copeland is almost over the Hill

or

Copeland is almost past his expiry date?

what about retaining marcus in the development spot? surely his numbers in the abl are worthy? Spud would be the other one whose abl form may warrant it
